Exploring Borobudur with Indonesia Green Map
Jakarta Green Monster :: Monday, 27/07/2009, 03:42 WIBLast weekend at July 17 - 19, JGM join the Indonesia Green Map gathering that was held on Dusun Maitan, Desa Borobudur, Magelang Jawa Tengah. Ady and Evi joining this occasion because JGM is part of supporting community for Jakarta Green Map.
The first day, we exploring area suround Desa Borobudur by using Borobudur Green Map. It was started from Dusun Maitan and finished at Borobudur temple. At the final destination all of participants learn about the wall story that chiseled on wall temple.
The day two and three, we have some discussions and presentations about Indonesia Green Map and replication in other provinces. One of the result from this occasion is to building capacity, vision and mision within local Green Map community.
In the future, JGM as Jakarta Green Map supporting community, will conduct lake and river survey in Jakarta. It will be result a map that contain about information and nature water reservoir status. And as the part of this plan, JGM will develop an environmental interpreation map for local Suaka Margasatwa Muara Angke with green map method.(AK)

We are Master students of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
We are doing a research about Heritage in Yogyakarta, center of Java. We choose Borobudur and Prambanan to survey how heritage impacted or merged in tourism sites in Indonesia.
And we really need your opinions about those two heritages so we could try our best to improve the tourism in heritage sites.
